We are very excited to introduce you to our two amazing Yoga Teachers...

Bärbel (Bee) one of the most experienced teachers we've ever had, enjoyed her first yoga class in 1999 (Jivamukti Yoga) and since then she has never stopped practicing. With her teachers Sharon Gannon and David Life she has achieved an 800hr Jivamukti Yoga Teacher Certification. She continues to practice with them at least once a year. She has also been lucky enough to study with many other renowned teachers such as David Swenson, Nancy Gilgoff, Lino Miele, Gurmukh, Mark Whitwell and Shiva Rea. She has been teaching regularly in Germany and Austria for many years. Bärbel’s wealth of experience, knowledge and compassion enables her to offer fantastic dynamic and restorative classes for all levels and abilities. Her main goal is to give people freedom in body and mind by developing a regular yoga practice.

Fiona (Fi) began her yoga journey under the steady hand of Stewart Gilchrist. So grateful and inspired by his support, encouragement and teaching, she completed an Ashtanga teacher training with Paul Dallaghan in Thailand. There she also learnt from the restorative touch of Elonne Stockton. She maintains a Satyagraha vinyasa with Stewart and regularly practices Jivamukti, Ashtanga and Iyengar. Trained in Thai yoga massage by Krishnatakis at the Sunshine House, she continues to practice, developing her sense for the energy body and adding elements of this ancient tradition to restorative sequences or asanas. Acro play with Pau & Ali, Jacqui Wan and many others has allowed her to incorporate fun partner work into her classes.
Fi teaches yoga asana as a moving meditation - ‘an uninterrupted flow of breath, awareness, and concentration’ and brings to her teaching all of her own yoga experience; encouraging and supporting every student from the novice to the more advanced with attention to alignment and using sensitive adjustments. She finds great fulfillment sharing in the discovery of yoga, which has given her so much.
We are all students of yoga whatever our ‘level’, on and off the mat.
