Villa Mandala is so well located that you don’t even need to get in our vehicles to go surfing if you don’t want to. The classic Banana Point is on the doorstep, the hollow lefts of Onze and the easy rights and lefts of Douze peel to the South, beach break action is round the corner at Devil’s Rock and Crocodile’s, and Spider’s reef is to the right and les Dalles to the left. Consistency of small to medium sized surf is the one of the great advantages of the surf in this particular section of the coast. The beaches around villa Mandala pick up lots of swell and there can be quality waves at Onze, Douze or Croco's when everywhere else is flat.
The surf in front of Villa Mandala suits all levels of surfer from beginner to advanced. Onze provides a fun but steep left for intermediate and advanced surfers. Banana Point is great for intermediates and advanced to experience long, powerful point break waves but is less challenging than some point breaks in the area. Douze is a great intermediate wave and Crocos, les Dalles and Devils Rock are easy ultra consistent beginners spots. The epic waves of Taghazout are easily accessible and it’s only 5 minute drive to its famous point breaks.
As you can see from the map below and the gallery above there is an abundance of epic waves for all abilities within easy driving distance of all our locations. Our surf camp packages with surf guiding included give you the best chance to experience all these incredible surf spots during your stay.
